Jr NTR has hit out at the creators of a morphed video of the song ‘Chuttamalle’ from his hit film ‘Devara: Part I’, labeling the act as “disgusting, sick and shameless.” Taking to his X handle, the actor expressed his outrage over the misuse of AI to create degrading content targeting women. Emphasizing the cultural value of respecting women as goddesses in India, the star did not mince words, calling the perpetrators “scumbags” and vowing to pursue every possible legal avenue against anyone involved in creating or spreading the clip.
The actor has issued a stern warning to those behind the video, stating that he will not spare anyone responsible for such a vile act. Beyond the legal threats, Jr NTR also made a direct appeal to his fan base, urging them to refrain from watching, sharing, or engaging with the morphed content in any capacity. He highlighted the broader societal implications of such deepfakes, noting that today it might be a celebrity, but tomorrow it could be anyone’s mother, sister, wife, or daughter. Consequently, he has called upon both state governments and the Government of India to implement strict regulations to curb the rampant misuse of AI.
This incident adds to the growing list of celebrities speaking out against the alarming rise of AI-generated deepfake content. Stars like Sreeleela and Ranveer Singh have previously voiced similar concerns after being targeted by malicious online actors. Meanwhile, Jr NTR continues to navigate a busy career; his 2024 pan-India release ‘Devara: Part I’, directed by Koratala Siva, saw him playing a double role in one of the year’s most anticipated films. More recently, the actor was seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘War 2’ alongside Hrithik Roshan, a YRF production that hit theaters in 2025 and saw an average performance at the box office.
