The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has launched an extensive manhunt crossing state lines into Gujarat following a terrifying attack on Bollywood star Tiger Shroff. The incident occurred this past Sunday outside a popular football club in Juhu, where the actor is a regular visitor. Investigating agencies have revealed that the attack was far from random; the perpetrators had reportedly conducted a detailed recce of the actor’s weekly routine, knowing exactly when he would be leaving the venue in his car to execute their pre-planned strike.
According to police sources, the assailants executed a calculated escape route immediately after the firing. They navigated through SV Road, passing Vile Parle and Andheri, before abandoning their motorcycle near the Andheri West railway station. From there, they boarded a train toward Borivali, eventually crossing the Maharashtra border into Gujarat to evade capture. Three to four specialized teams from the Mumbai Crime Branch are currently conducting raids across multiple locations to track down the fugitives.
While Tiger Shroff escaped direct gunshot wounds, Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that the actor’s vehicle was targeted as he exited the club premises. The actor’s driver sustained injuries during the commotion. Tiger himself suffered minor injuries to his left hand caused by gunpowder and glass fragments. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the Shroff residence on Sunday night to meet with the actor and his mother, Ayesha Shroff, promising state support and a swift resolution to the case.
An FIR has been officially registered against three unidentified individuals under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 109(1) and 3(5), alongside the Arms Act. Authorities remain focused on dismantling the network behind the attack and apprehending everyone involved in this security breach. The investigation is ongoing as police teams work to secure evidence and trace the suspects across state borders.
