Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar recently met with Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff to check on his well-being following a distressing firing incident in Mumbai. Sharing glimpses of the meeting on social media, Shelar posted photos of the actor, who was seen wearing a black vest while deep in conversation. Expressing his concern, the minister stated that such acts of violence have no place in society and extended his wishes for Tiger’s strength and recovery after the ordeal.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening near a Juhu football club, left the industry shaken. While Tiger Shroff fortunately escaped direct gunshot injuries, his driver was left injured when the accused opened fire at the actor’s car. Following a swift investigation, Mumbai Police managed to track down and arrest three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan. A local court has granted a 48-hour transit remand, and the accused are now in the custody of the Mumbai Police for further interrogation.
To ensure a secure transfer, the Mumbai Police implemented a strategic ‘Plan B’ for transporting the suspects. The accused were held overnight at the Railway Colony police station in Kota under tight security, with a joint cordon maintained by the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Rajasthan Police. Kota Additional SP Subhash Chandra Mishra confirmed that the transit remand was granted to allow for a safe and systematic transfer to Mumbai. The case has been registered under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with the Arms Act, as investigators continue to probe the motive behind the attack.
