The North Bombay Durga Puja pandal has once again turned into the ultimate hotspot for Bollywood’s biggest stars. On Tuesday, veteran actress Tanuja made a graceful appearance at the festivities, looking elegant in a vibrant yellow saree. She was joined by her daughters, Kajol and Tanishaa, who were clearly in the festive spirit. Kajol stunned in a beautiful pink and orange saree, but it was a heartwarming moment between the mother-daughter duo that stole the spotlight. Viral visuals from the event captured Kajol touching Tanuja’s feet to seek her blessings, a touching gesture that quickly won over fans online. Kajol’s son, Yug, was also spotted accompanying the family during the celebrations.
The North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samity has been buzzing with non-stop action this season, serving as the go-to destination for celebrity reunions and festive cheer. Just a few days prior, Ranbir Kapoor made headlines with his visit to the same pandal. Dressed in a festive red-and-gold kurta paired with crisp white pyjamas, the actor offered his prayers before catching up with his close friend and frequent collaborator, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.
Ranbir’s visit also provided a major highlight for fans when he joined singer Harshdeep Kaur on stage for an impromptu performance. A video of the duo singing the popular track ‘Kabira’ from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani went viral, showing Ranbir actively engaging with the crowd and encouraging them to sing along. As the festival of Durga Puja continues to honor the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura, these candid moments of devotion and community have become a staple of the annual celebrations that lead up to Vijayadashami.
