The investigation into the shocking October 18, 2026, shooting incident involving Bollywood star Tiger Shroff has seen a major breakthrough. Kota City Police in Rajasthan apprehended three individuals on October 19 while they were traveling on a train. The suspects have been identified as 17-year-old Phool Singh from Sonipat, 18-year-old Rehan from Sonipat, and 22-year-old Hritik Kumar, also known as Roshan, a Bihar native who worked as a Rapido driver in Mumbai’s Andheri West area.
The attack occurred around 7:00 PM on Sunday as Shroff was leaving a football club. Forensic experts confirmed that between three to five rounds were fired at the actor’s BMW, leaving Tiger Shroff with injuries to his left hand caused by gunpowder and glass shards. His driver, Firdos Ibrahim Baloch, and an autorickshaw driver named Chauhan also sustained injuries during the harrowing ordeal. Following the shooting, the suspects allegedly abandoned their motorcycle near Andheri West railway station before attempting to flee the state, with agencies tracking their movements through Gujarat into Rajasthan.
While the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack via social media, Mumbai police are currently working to verify the authenticity of these claims. The case, initially registered by Juhu Police under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act, has now been transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch for a deeper probe. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have publicly condemned the violence. In response, Mumbai Police have deployed 15 special teams to investigate the broader conspiracy, including whether the perpetrators had been conducting reconnaissance on the actor’s daily routines.
