Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana Part 1 hits global cinemas on November 5 2026

The wait for one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects is finally getting real.

The wait for one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects is finally getting real. On the auspicious first day of Navratri, the makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic ‘Ramayana’ dropped a stunning ensemble poster that has sent social media into a frenzy. The new visual offers a first look at the film’s lead cast, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, with Rocking Star Yash’s towering presence as Ravana looming in the background. The detailed costumes and grand sets provide an early glimpse into the massive visual world being built for this cinematic adaptation.

Adding to the excitement, the production team has officially confirmed that Part 1 will hit theaters worldwide on November 5, 2026. Signaling the start of an extensive promotional campaign, the team shared the message, “Yeh Ram Ke Yug Ka Aarambh Hai,” on social media. Fans eager to secure their spots can mark their calendars, as advance bookings for the film are set to open this coming Dussehra. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, with special availability in IMAX formats to capture the scale of the production.

Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with the eight-time Oscar-winning visual effects company DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the project is a massive undertaking. The star-studded cast also includes Sunny Deol, who will be portraying the role of Hanuman. With Part 1 arriving in November 2026, the second installment is already slated for a Diwali 2027 release. Global distribution outside India is being handled by Sony Pictures, while Dharma Productions will oversee the film’s reach within the Hindi-speaking markets.
