Tiger Shroff Targeted in Juhu Shooting Incident as Government Promises Strict Action

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a terrifying attack on the evening of October 18, 2026, after shots were fired at his car near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu.

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a terrifying attack on the evening of October 18, 2026, after shots were fired at his car near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu. The incident occurred just as the actor was settling into his vehicle following a football match. While Tiger remained physically unharmed, his driver, identified as Pardosh, sustained injuries to his hand. A second individual, believed to be a local bystander, was also reported injured during the chaos. Eyewitnesses reported that two to three assailants on a motorcycle carried out the assault, with surveillance footage showing approximately five rounds fired at the vehicle.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack through social media posts linked to Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu. The group alleged the shooting was a targeted warning to the actor over his professional association with Salman Khan, issuing threats of further violence. In response to the alarming breach of security, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde personally spoke with Tiger and his father, Jackie Shroff. Shinde condemned the violence as a severe threat to law and order, promising that the government would not tolerate such intimidation and would conduct immediate security reviews for high-profile celebrities.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also intervened, consulting with the actor and the Mumbai Police Commissioner to order an expedited investigation. The Mumbai Police have mobilized between 8 and 15 teams to track the perpetrators, with personnel fanning out across key locations including Kurla, Bandra, Kalyan, and Dadar railway stations. Officers from the Anti-Extortion Cell have already interviewed the injured at Nanavati Hospital, and a suspect has been detained in the Santacruz area. As investigators continue to analyze CCTV footage, the political climate has intensified, with opposition leaders like Congress MP Varsha Gaikwad and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut slamming the state government over the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.
