During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 20, the Bollywood superstar unleashed his fury on keyboard warriors who make a habit of body-shaming and age-shaming celebrities. While he didn’t name her directly, Salman passionately defended his friend and former co-star Katrina Kaif, who recently faced harsh criticism over her postpartum weight gain after attending the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. “Why do you troll somebody who gets pregnant? Everyone puts on weight after pregnancy. When she returns to films, she will be fit again; right now, she wants to spend time with her family,” he asserted, shutting down the unreasonable expectations placed on new mothers.
The actor also addressed the constant chatter about his own aging process, acknowledging that he is 60 and comfortable with it. He laughed off the “budha” comments, noting that he cannot look like his ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ self forever. To prove he still has it, Salman took a bold stand on camera by removing his shirt and hat and wiping off his makeup, challenging trolls to find fault with his physique. He didn’t stop there, defending his brother Sohail Khan and actor Varun Dhawan against online bullies, telling them to look at themselves and their own families before passing judgment on others.
Beyond personal trolling, Salman took aim at the paparazzi culture that often crosses the line. He expressed deep disgust over photographers capturing inappropriate angles of actresses and even his own nieces, often posting them with “guess who” captions. He urged women to stand up for themselves, suggesting they tell the cameramen to “take shots of their own mothers and sisters” instead. It was a rare, unfiltered moment for the star, who made it clear that while he chooses not to react to every insult, he is done watching people hide behind screens to demean others.
