Genelia, who has been busy with a hectic work schedule, was in for a heartwarming surprise when her husband, Riteish, decided to drop by and visit her. Sharing a sweet moment on social media, Genelia posted a picture of the two walking down the street together. She captioned the post with a heartfelt note, stating, “And on the most hectic days – it’s the one who comes down to surprise you and makes your whole day.” Riteish, ever the supportive partner, quickly reshared the post on his own Instagram story, adding to their long list of adorable public displays of affection.
Beyond their real-life romance, Genelia is currently gearing up for her next big screen appearance in the action-romance flick, Gunmaaster G9. Directed by Aditya Datt, the film promises a high-octane experience, blending intense action sequences with a gripping love story. The teaser, which dropped back in August, introduced us to Emraan Hashmi and Genelia as an on-screen husband and wife caught in the middle of a dangerous criminal world. Emraan plays Eshwar, a dairy farm owner turned protector, who will stop at nothing to keep his partner safe amid the chaos of guns and close-range combat.
Speaking on the project, Emraan Hashmi shared his excitement about reuniting with director Aditya Datt, noting that their creative synergy brings out the best in their work. The director promises that the movie will be a complete entertainer, packed with music, romance, and thrill. Alongside Emraan and Genelia, the film also features Aparshakti Khurana and marks the debut of Abhishek Singh. Produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut, and Sangeeta Ahir, Gunmaaster G9 is currently scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on November 27, 2026.
