Lawrence Bishnoi gang targeted Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan before Tiger Shroff attack

The investigation into the shocking October 18, 2026, shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff has exposed a chilling wider conspiracy orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police sources reveal that the action star was not the original intended victim. Before turning their sights on Shroff, the criminal network had conducted extensive reconnaissance on the homes of Bollywood heavyweights Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar. The gang allegedly recorded video footage of these stars’ residences and transmitted the intelligence to gangster Anil Pandit, who is believed to be directing operations from California.

According to investigators, the plot against the industry’s biggest names was sidelined due to the high-level security measures surrounding their properties. The assailants shifted their focus to Tiger Shroff after monitoring his movements for roughly a week. The perpetrators identified a vulnerability in the actor’s routine, specifically noting his habit of playing football on Sundays, which involved minimal security detail for his vehicle. This led to the violent encounter near JVPD Garden in Juhu, which left Shroff’s driver, Firdosh, and an associate named Mar Chauhan injured.

The case has seen significant breakthroughs following a series of police operations. While authorities initially apprehended three suspects—Hritik, Rehan, and a minor—in Kota, the Delhi Police Special Cell recently ramped up the pressure, leading to the arrest of four additional accomplices identified as Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita. All seven suspects have now been transferred to the Mumbai Police on transit remand. Officials are currently interrogating the group to further dismantle the extortion and threat-based network that has been terrorizing the film fraternity.
