Kartik Aaryan brings a fresh twist to friendship with the new House of McDowell Soda campaign

Kartik Aaryan is back as the face of House of McDowell’s Soda, but this time he’s redefining what it means to hang out with your inner circle.

Kartik Aaryan is back as the face of House of McDowell’s Soda, but this time he’s redefining what it means to hang out with your inner circle. The brand has just launched its latest campaign, ‘Yaari Ki Nayi Vibe’, which pivots from the traditional idea of just ‘spending time together’ to the modern reality of creating spontaneous, memorable experiences. The campaign highlights that in today’s world, a simple plan can easily turn into an unforgettable adventure, with the humble soda can acting as the ultimate catalyst for the fun.

The new brand film features Kartik and his group of friends navigating an everyday plan that takes an unexpected turn, all set to a groovy, reimagined version of the classic track ‘Aao Twist Karein’. It’s a nostalgic nod to the past with a fresh, contemporary energy that perfectly mirrors the brand’s new visual identity. Fans will notice a sleek makeover for the McDowell’s Soda cans, which now boast a premium aesthetic featuring vibrant pops of orange, teal, and silver, signaling a modern shift for the iconic label.

Aanandita Datta, VP Marketing and Category Head at Diageo India, noted that the campaign is all about evolving with the times, moving beyond just being together to focusing on the memories created along the way. Kartik Aaryan echoed this sentiment, sharing that the campaign feels deeply personal because it captures the magic of unscripted moments with friends. Saatchi & Saatchi India’s Chief Creative Officer, Kartik Smetacek, added that the brand’s major reinvention uses the soda can as a symbol of new energy, promising a more vibrant and connected experience for yaars everywhere.
