It was a nostalgic Friday at Amity University in Noida as actor Himansh Kohli returned to his alma mater alongside actress Sonalli Sehgal. The duo visited the campus to promote their upcoming film, Aryabhatt Ka Zero, and were warmly welcomed by Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of the Amity School Group, and Dr. Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity School of Film and Drama and Amity Humanity Foundation. The promotional event also saw the presence of the film’s director Kamal Chandra, music director Mannan, and artist Darshana Banik.
During an interactive session with the students of the Amity School of Film and Drama, Himansh Kohli took a trip down memory lane. The actor shared fond recollections of his time as a student at the university between 2009 and 2011, noting how seeing various artists visit the campus during those years served as a major source of inspiration for his own career. He admitted that stepping back onto the campus grounds gave him a distinct sense of being back home.
Beyond the nostalgia, Kohli offered some valuable industry insights to the aspiring filmmakers in the audience. He encouraged the students to dream big while emphasizing that consistent hard work is the only path to turning those aspirations into reality. Reflecting on his own journey, he urged the attendees to make the most of their current learning phase, highlighting how the practical experience he gained with cameras and public relations during his student days at Amity proved essential to his professional growth in Bollywood.
