The makers of the upcoming film Little Thomas have officially dropped their latest track, Do Guna Zindagi, offering a heartwarming glimpse into the story. Sung by Raghav Meattle and composed by the duo Aditya N. and Nayantara Bhatkal, with poignant lyrics by Suresh Bhatia, the song perfectly encapsulates the small everyday victories and quiet hopes of a family living in Goa. The visuals follow seven-year-old Thomas, played by Hridansh Parekh, as he eagerly awaits the arrival of his baby brother, a narrative thread that runs parallel to his parents’ shared optimism for a brighter future.
Moving away from the typical touristy beachside postcards often associated with the region, the song was filmed across the charming, hidden corners of Goa. The cinematography highlights quiet alleyways, stairways overlooking historic Portuguese-era homes, and improvised football pitches on church grounds. These visuals capture the authentic, laid-back susegad spirit and the vibrant energy of the state’s quaint neighborhoods, grounding the film in a realistic and nostalgic setting.
Directed by Kaushal Oza, the film is deeply personal, inspired by the director’s own childhood experiences. Oza shared that the production was a joyful experience, largely due to the infectious enthusiasm of the young cast whose chemistry shines through on screen. He promises that the character of Thomas will take audiences on an emotional journey that ranges from laughter to tears.
Produced by a team including Anushka Shah, Charu Oza, Rajnikant Oza, Akshay Thakker, Kabir Ahuja, Ranjan Singh, and Anurag Kashyap, Little Thomas is positioned as a refreshing departure from high-adrenaline cinema. Producer Ranjan Singh described the project as a simple, sweet story designed to be enjoyed by the entire family. With its focus on innocence and adventure, the film is set to hit the big screens on October 23.
