After setting the box office on fire, the high-octane spy thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now aiming for global glory. The makers have officially launched a campaign to secure a spot at the 69th Grammy Awards, submitting the film’s vibrant soundtrack for consideration across nine different categories. Produced by T-Series and B62 Studios, the music, which was composed by Shashwat Sachdev, is looking to make a major splash on the international stage ahead of the 2027 ceremony.
The team took to social media on Friday to share the exciting update with fans, expressing gratitude for the love the music has received so far. The submissions cover a diverse range of genres and artists. Arijit Singh’s soul-stirring track ‘Phir Se’ is vying for a spot in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category, while the high-energy ‘Aari Aari’—featuring Bombay Rockers, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, Reble, Token, and Sudhir Yaduvanshi—has been put forward for Best Asian Pop Music Performance.
The Grammy campaign is quite ambitious, featuring ‘Jaan Se Guzarte Hai’ and ‘Kanhaiyya’ in the Best Global Music Performance category, alongside ‘Jaiye Sajana’ for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The entries also highlight the versatility of the album, with ‘Destiny – Mann Atkeya’ submitted for Best Rap Performance, ‘Vaari Jaavan’ for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and ‘Hum Pyaar Karne Wale’ for Best Remixed Recording.
Starring Ranveer Singh alongside a power-packed ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor, the film has already been a massive hit with audiences. While the soundtrack has gained significant traction, it is important to note that these submissions are simply the first step in the process. The Recording Academy has yet to announce the final list of nominees for the 69th edition of the awards, and these entries do not guarantee a nomination.
