Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have officially expanded their family. The stars announced the arrival of their second daughter on Saturday evening through a charming joint post on Instagram. Sharing a sweet image of a baby footprint, the pair expressed their joy as their household officially grows from three to four members. The announcement post, which was simply captioned with an evil eye emoji, confirmed the arrival date as September 19, 2026, and revealed the baby’s name as Dua, Deepika, and Ranveer.
The arrival of the newborn comes just a day after the couple was spotted seeking blessings at Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple. The pregnancy journey was recently celebrated by the couple on their first daughter Dua’s second birthday, where they shared a series of intimate black-and-white photos. In the heartwarming images, Ranveer was seen tenderly holding Deepika’s baby bump while the couple shared a smiling moment, with Deepika dressed in a fitted lace ensemble and Ranveer keeping it classic in a white shirt and trousers.
As the couple settles into this new chapter of parenthood, their professional lives remain as busy as ever. Deepika has a packed slate ahead, including Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film King, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, as well as Atlee’s highly anticipated sci-fi action project Raaka, headlined by Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has been occupied with the filming of his upcoming project, Pralay.
