The actor-producer has officially entered her ‘bawri’ phase with the release of the film’s special track, ‘Re Bawri’, which dropped this Thursday. Alia took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the energetic number, instantly grabbing the attention of her fans and setting the tone for the movie’s upcoming premiere.
The track itself is a vibrant collaboration, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Sona Mohapatra. Composed and produced by Ram Sampath with lyrics penned by Saveri Verma, the song is designed to get listeners moving. Reflecting on the track, Sona Mohapatra noted that ‘Re Bawri’ captures the essence of carefree friendship and those spontaneous moments where the music takes over. She expressed her joy in seeing Alia and the cast bring that infectious energy to the screen, hoping it inspires the audience to embrace a little bit of that ‘bawri’ spirit themselves.
‘Don’t Be Shy’ centers on the life of 20-year-old Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a young woman who finds her meticulously planned world turned upside down by unpredictable circumstances. Directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the film is produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under their banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions, in collaboration with Chalkboard Entertainment’s Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani.
