The tension surrounding Vijay Salgaonkar’s carefully guarded secrets has officially intensified. On Thursday, the makers of the highly anticipated Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 3 unveiled the film’s first track, Vingansa. The song offers a dark, brooding musical glimpse into the high-stakes world of the franchise, perfectly capturing the ominous atmosphere that fans have come to expect from the Salgaonkar family saga.
The title Vingansa draws its inspiration from the Portuguese word ‘vingança,’ which translates to revenge. Composed by the talented Ravi Basrur, the track features haunting lyrics by Aamil Keeyan Khan and powerful, raw vocals by Siddharth Basrur. According to Khan, the song reflects the weight of years of secrets, noting that in this story, revenge is not just about simple anger but about the terrifying reactions that follow every action taken by the characters. Siddharth Basrur added that he focused on maintaining a level of controlled aggression in his performance to ensure the vocals matched the intensity of the composition.
Star Studio18 presents Drishyam: The Conclusion, which is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Kamlesh Sawant.
