Ajay Devgn has once again proved his box office prowess as his latest crime thriller, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, continues its unstoppable run in theaters. The film has officially crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within its first two days of release, cementing its status as a massive commercial success. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie raked in a stellar Rs 62 crore on Friday, followed by a robust Rs 52 crore on Saturday, bringing its two-day domestic total to an impressive Rs 114 crore.
The film witnessed a major surge in footfalls during Saturday evening shows, silencing any doubts about its momentum. Industry experts are already predicting that the thriller is on track to secure the second-biggest opening weekend of 2026, trailing only behind the blockbuster Dhurandhar 2. The sustained interest from audiences suggests that the franchiseās legacy remains as strong as ever, with Sunday collections expected to be equally massive as families flock to see how the suspense unfolds.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the third installment picks up years after the events of the previous films, throwing Vijay Salgaonkar and his family into the eye of a fresh investigation. Ajay Devgn returns as the iconic Vijay, with Tabu reprising her role as Meera Deshmukh. The stellar ensemble cast also features Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Kamlesh Sawant. With a screenplay penned by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh, the film hit the big screens on October 2 and continues to dominate the box office conversation.
